The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has released its international home fixtures for the 2027 season, featuring a high-profile men’s and women’s Ashes programme alongside several major bilateral series and the ICC World Test Championship Final.
England’s men will begin their bid to regain the Ashes when the opening Test against Australia gets underway at Trent Bridge on June 18. The five-match contest will then move to Lord’s, Edgbaston, the Rose Bowl and conclude at The Oval from July 29. Notably, the Rose Bowl has been selected to host a men’s Ashes Test for the first time.
The women’s Ashes campaign will begin with a standalone Test at Headingley from June 24, marking the venue’s first women’s Ashes Test in more than two decades. The series will continue with three T20 Internationals at Trent Bridge, The Oval and Emirates Old Trafford, followed by a three-match One-Day International series at the Utilita Bowl, Lord’s and Edgbaston.
The women’s rivalry resumes after Australia defeated England in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final earlier this month, adding further anticipation to the upcoming Ashes contest.
Ahead of the Ashes, England Men will start their home season with a five-match ODI series against Pakistan before welcoming Bangladesh for a one-off Test at Lord’s. Their preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 will conclude with a white-ball series against New Zealand in September.
England Women will finish their home campaign with limited-overs fixtures against Bangladesh, including both T20I and ODI series.
The ECB also confirmed that The Oval will host the ICC World Test Championship Final from June 9 to 13, 2027, making it the second occasion the historic venue has staged the championship decider.
