Culver City-  Kylie Jenner made her debut on the Victoria’s Secret runway on October 18, becoming the centre of attention in a diamond-encrusted Fantasy Bra reportedly valued at $50 million. The appearance marked the return of one of the lingerie brand’s most recognisable fashion-show traditions, with a design that combines high jewellery with elaborate runway styling.

The 29-year-old entrepreneur and reality television personality wore the statement piece at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show held at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. The creation is reported to be the most expensive Fantasy Bra produced by the brand, surpassing the valuations of earlier versions.

A Jewellery Creation That Took More Than 1,000 Hours

Designed in collaboration with jewellery house Jacob & Co., the Fantasy Bra features 4,410 natural diamonds arranged around a 75.54-carat radiant-cut vivid yellow diamond. According to details reported by Vogue, the elaborate piece took more than 1,000 hours to complete, with 15 artisans involved in its creation.

Weighing just under four pounds, or approximately 1.8 kilograms, the bra was a centrepiece of Jenner’s runway appearance. She paired it with white feathered wings, a white mini skirt and transparent heels, keeping the rest of the ensemble relatively understated.

The return of the Fantasy Bra also represents a revival of a long-standing Victoria’s Secret tradition. The jewellery-focused designs became signature attractions at the brand’s fashion shows, although the feature had been absent from the runway since 2018.

Why Victoria’s Secret Chose Kylie Jenner

Jenner’s selection reflects the fashion label’s interest in bringing together established runway traditions and contemporary celebrity culture. Victoria’s Secret chief creative officer Adam Selman told Vogue that the decision to revive the Fantasy Bra followed requests from fans, while the choice of Jenner was intended to connect the spectacle with a wider audience.

Selman described Jenner as a personality whose influence extends across fashion, entertainment and popular culture. Her beauty business and substantial social media following have also helped establish her as a prominent figure beyond reality television.

The pairing places a celebrity entrepreneur rather than a traditional runway model at the centre of the brand’s jewellery showcase, highlighting the increasingly close relationship between fashion, entertainment and celebrity-driven marketing.

Supermodels Join the Victoria’s Secret Show

Jenner shared the runway with several established Victoria’s Secret models and prominent names from the international fashion industry. Returning veterans included Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, Barbara Palvin, Doutzen Kroes and Elsa Hosk.

The lineup also featured Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Joan Smalls, Irina Shayk, Anok Yai, Paloma Elsesser and Alex Consani, bringing together familiar faces and a newer generation of models.

With the return of the Fantasy Bra and Jenner’s high-profile debut, the show placed renewed emphasis on elaborate runway creations and celebrity participation. The $50 million valuation, the thousands of diamonds and the craftsmanship behind the piece made it one of the evening’s defining attractions.
