Gautam Buddh Nagar: In a bid to ensure better, accessible, and timely healthcare services for workers, DM Medha Roopam conducted an inspection of the ESIC Hospital Sector 24 Noida. During the visit, a detailed review meeting was held with hospital authorities and doctors to assess the healthcare services being provided to workers. She reviewed key aspects including quality of treatment, availability of medicines, status of medical staff, timeliness of treatment, and the functioning of emergency services. Clear instructions were issued to ensure that patients do not face any inconvenience and that all services operate efficiently.
The inspection covered various hospital departments such as the OPD, medicine distribution center, emergency ward, laboratory, and canteen, among other critical facilities. She also interacted directly with patients to gather feedback on the services being provided.
Emphasizing that providing quality, transparent, and timely healthcare services to workers must remain the top priority, she directed special focus on the availability of doctors, proper functioning of medical equipment, and adequate supply of medicines. Instructions were also given to continuously monitor the quality of food served in the canteen and to ensure strict checks on expiry dates of packaged food items.
She further instructed that all doctors and staff must carry out their duties with full responsibility and sensitivity to ensure continuous improvement in hospital services. Any negligence or lack of diligence at any level will invite strict action as per rules. Chief Medical Officer Gautam Buddh Nagar Dr. Narendra Kumar, ESIC Director Harman Kaur, ACMO Chandan Soni, senior doctors, and other administrative officials were present during the inspection.
