CJP Centre talks resumed in the national capital on Friday as representatives of the Central Government and the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) met to discuss the ongoing protest and possible steps towards a resolution. The latest round of CJP Centre talks has raised expectations that both sides could move closer to easing tensions after several days of demonstrations.

The meeting was held at the Constitution Club of India, where delegates from both sides exchanged views on the demands raised by the protesting organisation. Party spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said the dialogue remained constructive and confirmed that another round of CJP Centre talks has been scheduled for Saturday.

Security remains tight in central Delhi, particularly around Jantar Mantar and nearby areas, where prohibitory measures continue to remain in place. Authorities have also extended restrictions on mobile internet services in selected locations, citing the need to maintain law and order and prevent the spread of misinformation during the protests.

The internet restrictions have also reached the Delhi High Court, which agreed to urgently hear a petition challenging the continued suspension of mobile internet services. The petitioner has argued that the prolonged shutdown has affected residents, businesses and daily activities in the affected areas. The matter is expected to be heard soon.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police rejected rumours circulating on social media claiming that CJP leader Dipke had died. Officials described the reports as false and misleading and urged people not to forward or rely on unverified information. Police advised citizens to follow updates only through official government and law enforcement channels.

Despite the continued protest, both the government and CJP have kept communication channels open. Officials believe sustained dialogue could help address key concerns while ensuring peace and public safety. With another meeting scheduled for Saturday, attention will remain focused on whether the CJP Centre talks can produce a breakthrough in the ongoing standoff.
