Hyderabad, June 11: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a recently formed political outfit, has announced a series of peaceful demonstrations across several Indian cities. As part of the campaign, a protest is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on June 14.
According to the programme released by the party, the Hyderabad gathering will be held at Dharna Chowk and is expected to begin at 10 a.m. The event is part of a nationwide outreach initiative planned between June 11 and June 20.
The party shared details of its protest schedule through its social media platforms, inviting supporters and citizens to participate in demonstrations in different cities.
Party leaders said the campaign aims to raise public issues through peaceful and democratic means. The organization plans to conduct events in seven cities during the current phase of its outreach programme.
The Cockroach Janta Party was established in May 2026 by social activist Abhijeet Dipke. The formation of the party followed a national debate sparked by remarks made during judicial proceedings earlier this year.
The comments, which drew widespread public attention and criticism, triggered discussions among activists, students and unemployed youth. Soon after, supporters launched a new political platform under the banner of the Cockroach Janta Party.
The party’s first major public demonstration took place at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi earlier this month.
During the protest, participants raised concerns over alleged irregularities in examination processes and demanded accountability from authorities. The demonstration marked the beginning of the party’s public campaign on education-related issues.
Organisers expect supporters from Telangana and neighbouring regions to participate in the June 14 programme.
Party representatives have stated that the gathering will remain peaceful and focus on highlighting public concerns through democratic engagement. Local authorities are expected to monitor the event and make necessary arrangements for crowd management.
Although the party is relatively new, its activities have attracted attention on social media and among youth groups. Political observers believe the upcoming nationwide demonstrations could help the organization expand its visibility and connect with a wider audience.
Further protests are expected to take place in multiple cities over the coming days as part of the party’s ongoing campaign.
