PM Modi’s Life Will Inspire New Generations to Serve the Nation: CM Nayab Singh Saini

Panchkula–  Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the entire world has witnessed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of service, dedication, sacrifice and commitment. During this uninterrupted period of service, he has worked to bring people standing at the last rung of society into the mainstream. The month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, beginning on September 17, will provide an opportunity for the younger generations to draw inspiration and learn from his life about serving the nation. The campaign will bring the government, organisation and society together on a common platform and strengthen the spirit of public welfare and service.

Addressing a government-organisation coordination meeting on the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at the BJP state headquarters Panchkamal today, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that for a long time, the governance system in the country had been run through political alliances, but 25 years ago, Narendra Modi, as Chief Minister, worked to break this pattern. Similarly, at the national level, he earned the trust of people across the country and has worked to run a government focused on continuous service.

The Chief Minister said that during Prime Minister Modi’s 25 years in public life, his spirit of service has focused on bringing people at the last rung of society into the mainstream and eliminating dynastic politics, corruption and appeasement politics. He said this has made people across the country feel satisfied. The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan will be taken to every household in Haryana, he said, adding that the framework of the 12 scheduled programmes would be based on public participation. Every party worker should motivate people in their surrounding areas to actively participate in the campaign.

BJP state president Dr Archana Gupta said that BJP workers are working in a planned manner to ensure their participation in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and increase public participation. She said that on September 17, on the occasion of Seva Diwas, BJP workers and members of the public across Haryana would light 20 lakh lamps as a gesture of their blessings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Plans are also being prepared to light between 50,000 and one lakh lamps at some historic locations across the state.

She said that a series of blood donation camps would also begin on Seva Diwas, with the first camp to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister in Kurukshetra. These camps will subsequently be organised on different days across all 27 organisational districts of the BJP. Under the Seva Chitra programme, maximum participation of young people will be encouraged in painting and speech competitions to be organised in schools across the state.

Under the Aangan Ka Milan programme, party workers will be assigned duties at events to be organised at the Anganwadi-centre level, where Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi helpers, ASHA workers and ANMs will be honoured. She said that as part of the journey from Vadnagar to Varanasi, the campaign will pass through Nuh, Mahendragarh and Rewari in Haryana and will include a one-day night halt.

Dr Archana Gupta further said that Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatras would be organised across Haryana on October 7. These journeys will begin at the mandal level, proceed through the Assembly constituency level and culminate at the district level, where all public representatives, along with large numbers of citizens, will listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address.

She said that the Jan Sevak Mahakumbh is proposed to be organised at Surajkund, where sarpanches, Panchayat Samiti members, Zila Parishad members, chairpersons and elected representatives of urban local bodies from seven states will participate.

BJP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Bhatia said that taking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of service, dedication and commitment to national interest to every section of society is the primary objective of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. He directed that preparations for all programmes under the campaign be completed at the earliest. For major events, the government and organisation should work in close coordination and prepare effective and comprehensive plans so that the message of the campaign reaches society on a wider scale.

BJP national team member and coordinator of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Kuljeet Chahal, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life have demonstrated that power is not an end in itself but a means of serving the people. He said the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan should not be conducted merely as a celebration but with a genuine spirit of service and public participation.

Minister in charge of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Ranbir Gangwa, State General Secretary (Organisation) Phanindranath Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Ved Phullan, Satya Prakash Jarawata, ministers, MLAs, public representatives, state office-bearers, district presidents and district in-charges were present on the occasion.
