Lucknow, June 19, 2026: The Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched its official YouTube channel, ‘Suchna Pravah’, as part of a major digital communication initiative aimed at improving public access to authentic and timely information related to government programmes and development activities.
The channel was inaugurated at Lok Bhavan, Lucknow, by Director, Information, Vishal Singh, and Additional Director, Information, Arvind Kumar Mishra. The launch event was attended by Film Producer Abhay Kumar Srivastava, Film Production Manager Sandeep Pandey, along with senior officers and employees of the Information Department.
‘Suchna Pravah’ has been developed as the official digital platform of the Uttar Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department. The channel will serve as a reliable source of information on government welfare schemes, public interest programmes, policy decisions, development projects and major achievements of the state government.
Through this digital platform, citizens will receive updates in an accessible and engaging format through documentaries, special reports, informative videos, government campaigns and coverage of important events. The initiative aims to make government communication more transparent, interactive and citizen-friendly.
Speaking at the launch, Director, Information, Vishal Singh said that digital platforms have become one of the most effective tools for mass communication in the modern era. He highlighted that ‘Suchna Pravah’ would act as an important link between the government and citizens by providing verified information on policies, schemes and development initiatives.
He said the platform would help people understand government programmes more easily and ensure that important information reaches the public quickly through digital channels.
Additional Director, Information, Arvind Kumar Mishra said that the department is adopting new technologies to match changing communication trends and strengthen public outreach. He stated that ‘Suchna Pravah’ would showcase Uttar Pradesh’s development journey, welfare initiatives and governance achievements to a wider audience.
The channel is expected to play a significant role in expanding awareness about government services, especially among citizens who rely increasingly on digital platforms for information. By combining technology with effective communication strategies, the department aims to create a more connected and informed citizen base.
