New Delhi, November 3 — Haryana Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister and MLA from Tigaon, Rajesh Nagar, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini after approval was granted for the ambitious elevated flyover project, estimated to cost approximately ₹753 crore, which will connect Greater Faridabad with NIT Faridabad.
Rajesh Nagar said the project would prove to be a historic step toward Faridabad’s development and improved traffic management. It will not only strengthen Greater Faridabad’s connectivity with the NIT area, but will also make travel toward Gurugram smoother and more convenient. The tender for the project is proposed to be issued on December 17, clearing the way for work to begin on the ground.
The Minister said he had raised the demand for this important project while serving as an MLA, before the then Chief Minister Manohar Lal. His aim was to connect the rapidly developing Greater Faridabad directly with the older parts of the city and major routes, so that residents could be relieved of traffic jams and long detours. Today, thanks to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s leadership and positive approach, this effort is set to become a reality.
He said that the proposed elevated corridor from Sainik Colony Chowk to Greater Faridabad and Amrita Hospital would reduce traffic pressure in major areas such as Badkhal, Ankhir, Masjid Chowk, Pyali-Hardware, and Bata Chowk. Under the project, flyovers and underpasses will also be constructed at various locations.
Rajesh Nagar said that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is continuously working for holistic development across Haryana, including Faridabad. In the coming years, this project will make commuting easier for lakhs of people while also giving fresh momentum to industrial, commercial, and urban development. He once again thanked the Chief Minister and the Haryana Government for this far-sighted decision.
