PM Modi Jind Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off India’s first hydrogen train from Jind on July 17 and unveil several major development projects in Haryana.

Jind, Haryana, July 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Haryana for the fifth time since Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini assumed office, reaffirming the Centre’s continued focus on the state’s infrastructure and welfare-driven development.

Over the past two years, the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Haryana have worked in close coordination, with each of the Prime Minister’s visits bringing major public welfare initiatives and infrastructure projects to the state.

On December 9, 2024, Prime Minister Modi launched the LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana from Panipat and laid the foundation stone of the Maharana Pratap Horticultural University. Later, on April 14, 2025, he laid the foundation stone for the new terminal at Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar and flagged off the first commercial flight from Hisar to Ayodhya.

His subsequent visits to Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, and Sonipat also witnessed the inauguration and foundation laying of several key development projects, strengthening infrastructure while promoting the state’s cultural and economic growth.

The Haryana government, under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has simultaneously focused on the implementation of development schemes through regular review meetings and administrative coordination. According to the state government, 63 of the 217 election commitments have already been fulfilled.

The Centre-State partnership has been reflected in the pace of development across Haryana, with the Prime Minister earlier expressing confidence in Chief Minister Saini’s leadership and the government’s ability to meet the aspirations of the people.

The next milestone is set for July 17, when Prime Minister Modi will visit Jind to flag off India’s first hydrogen-powered train, marking a significant step toward clean and sustainable transportation. During the visit, he is also expected to dedicate and launch several major development projects for the state.

The upcoming visit is expected to add another chapter to Haryana’s development journey while contributing to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation through modern and sustainable infrastructure.
