Faridabad CP and DC lead flag march to encourage voter participation

Complete security measures in place for smooth voting process: CP Rakesh Kumar Arya

Faridabad, 20 May, 2024: In a proactive move to ensure the security and encourage voter turnout, CP Rakesh Kumar Arya, accompanied by DC Vikram Singh, conducted a flag march through the city. The initiative aimed to instill confidence among the electorate and assure them of their safety during the upcoming elections.

The flag march, an essential component of election security protocol, was designed to demonstrate the readiness and vigilance of the police force. CP Arya emphasized the importance of public participation in the electoral process, urging citizens to vote enthusiastically. The march commenced from the CP’s Office, proceeding through key areas including Ankheer roundabout, Pali T Point on Sohna Ballabhgarh Road, Gothda Mohatabad, Nekpur, Nangla Chowk, village Dhoj, and several other significant localities.

The route concluded back at the CP’s Office, covering a comprehensive network to ensure maximum visibility and presence. During the march, Commissioner Arya along with senior officials, inspected various polling booths and issued directives to enhance security measures. Specific booths at Gothra Mohtabad, Nekpur, Dhoj, Khori Jamalpur, Government Senior Secondary School Saran, Dayalpur, Government Senior Secondary School Chayansa, Bataula, Khedi Kalan, Bengal Shooting Etmadpur, Sarai Khwaja, and Tilpat were visited to ensure they were well-prepared and secure.

CP Arya reiterated that Faridabad Police, in conjunction with paramilitary forces, has implemented robust security arrangements. He assured the public that the police are actively patrolling and monitoring all areas to prevent any untoward incidents. He encouraged citizens to exercise their right to vote without fear or hesitation, highlighting that voting is a civic duty crucial to the democratic process.
