D.A.V. Investiture was celebrated at D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, as the school formally inducted 132 newly elected student leaders during its Annual Investiture Ceremony. The event highlighted the institution’s commitment to developing responsible, disciplined and confident future leaders.

The ceremony was graced by Dr. Sulekha, an accomplished alumna of the institution, who attended as the Chief Guest. She was received by Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota along with Supervisory Heads Ms. Sumita Dey and Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul.

The programme began with a presentation highlighting the school’s accomplishments during the 2025-26 academic session. The report showcased notable achievements in academics, sports, cultural activities and various co-curricular initiatives, reflecting the institution’s all-round development.

A total of 132 students from the Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary wings were entrusted with leadership responsibilities. The newly elected office bearers included the Head Boy, Head Girl, Yojak, Yojika, House Captains, Vice-Captains, Prefects and members of the Student Council. Each student was presented with the official badge and sash, symbolising the trust and confidence placed in them by the school.

One of the most significant moments of the event was the oath-taking ceremony, during which the student leaders pledged to carry out their responsibilities with honesty, discipline, fairness and commitment while maintaining the values and reputation of the institution.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota congratulated the newly appointed council members and encouraged them to become role models through their actions. She urged them to embrace teamwork, serve the school community with dedication and inspire fellow students by demonstrating integrity and accountability in every responsibility they undertake.
