Sonipat: Haryana Chief Electoral Officer A. Srinivas reviewed the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 campaign with all the District Election Officers of the state via video conferencing from Gurugram on Tuesday. Discussing various aspects related to the voter list revision in detail, the meeting directed the officers to complete all tasks within the stipulated timeframe.
The meeting reviewed various agenda items, including the progress of verification of counting forms, verification of ASDD cases, verification of key voter count forms, timely printing and distribution of draft voter lists, training of Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), availability of infrastructure, rationalization of polling stations, and reordering of voter lists.

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Neha Singh stated that all activities under the SIR campaign in the district are being conducted as per the scheduled schedule. He informed that verification of 19.69 percent of ASDD cases has been completed by BLOs, while the verification of counting forms of prominent voters is also almost complete.
He informed that Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) will be provided training from July 27 to July 30, so that the work of the upcoming phases can be completed more effectively and error-free. He directed the officers to ensure that every task assigned by the Election Commission is completed in a timely, transparent and serious manner. Additional Deputy Commissioner Ajay Chopra, SDM Subhash Chandra, CTM Simran, DDPO Manish Malik, Election Tehsildar Dinesh Kumar and other concerned officers were present on this occasion.
