He announced a new concept of “Territorial Security” under a proposed quadrangular security grid that would bring together local citizens, civil administration, police forces, the military, and the BSF to strengthen national security along border regions.

The Home Minister said major efforts are underway to modernise border infrastructure, including construction of watchtowers, connecting roads, drinking water facilities, medical services, accommodation, and advanced fencing systems.

Highlighting the challenges of securing areas such as Sir Creek and Harami Nala, Shah stated that these once-sensitive regions are now being transformed into highly secure zones through technological surveillance and infrastructure upgrades. He added that the government aims to fully secure the region within the next two years.
