The Impressive TimesMumbai: Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya is set to return to theatres with his next directorial venture, Yeh Prem Mol Liya, scheduled for a theatrical release on November 27.
Backed by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films, the film brings together Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari for the first time on screen.
Positioned as a family entertainer, the project marks Barjatya’s first film since Uunchai and signals a return to the emotional, relationship-driven storytelling long associated with the director.
The film also reunites Barjatya with Himesh Reshammiya, who is composing the music. The duo last collaborated on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Industry watchers see the film as a notable release in a theatrical landscape currently dominated by action-heavy and franchise-driven cinema, with the makers betting on the appeal of traditional family drama.
