Mohali: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended a seminar in Mohali as the chief guest, where he spoke about the enduring relevance of Sant Kabir and his teachings.

Addressing the gathering, Saini described Kabir as a true guide for humanity and a reformer whose ideas challenged social divisions. He noted that Kabir’s message continues to encourage people to rise above discrimination and embrace equality.
The Chief Minister also expressed gratitude to the Sant Kabir Welfare Society for organising the event.
Highlighting the state government’s initiatives, Saini said that Haryana is working with a commitment to uplift the last person in society. He mentioned measures such as compensation for farmers affected by losses and financial support for women under the Lado Lakshmi Yojana.
He added that various welfare programmes are being implemented effectively to ensure inclusive development across all sections of society.
