The Impressive TimesFaridabad, March 7, 2025: Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) is contributing to academic excellence, digital transformation, and entrepreneurial growth under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) initiative. As part of the Next Generation Specialist Information Support (NSIS) Project titled “Developing information, research, and digital skills for business, innovation, and entrepreneurship in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal”, MRIIRS is working towards bridging the gap between education, research, and industry in this project, co-funded by European Union. The consortia of this project comprises of Ireland, Kazakhstan, Romania, Greece, Germany, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Erasmus+ CBHE, a flagship initiative of the European Union, funds projects that modernize higher education by integrating research-driven learning, digital advancements, and industry collaboration. The NSIS Project, funded under CBHE, equips HEIs with critical expertise and technological resources to foster innovation and economic development in South Asia.
Under the leadership of Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS (LEAR), and Dr. Sarita Sachdeva, Executive Director & Dean, Research, MRIIRS (Project Lead), this initiative is designed for development of knowledge economies in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The team members from MRIIRS are Mr. R.K. Arora; Dr. Monika Goel; Dr. Anindita C. Rao; Dr. Rajesh Kumar and Dr. Charu Rajpal.

The project will enhance the role of IS professionals in supporting higher education, research and business.
