New Delhi July 30 2024 :  The Delhi government has recently expanded its public transportation fleet by adding 320 new electric buses, bringing the total number of buses in the fleet to 7,683. This addition increases the number of electric buses in Delhi to 1,970, making it the city with the highest number of electric buses in India. Currently, 25% of Delhi’s bus fleet is electric, and the city aims to increase this to 80% by 2025, with a total of 8,280 electric buses.
