New Delhi 21, feb, 2024: Delhi Police Raising Day was celebrated on 16th February 2025, marking the commencement of the week-long celebrations from 16TH February to 22nd February 2025. To commemorate this occasion, the Welfare Vertical of Delhi Police organized various welfare-oriented programs aimed at promoting health and well-being of Delhi Police personnel.
During the Delhi Police Raising Day week, Blood donation camps, health check-up camps, and stress management camps were organized in association with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), RBL Bank, and other NGOs.
These welfare oriented programs saw an impressive turnout and the details are as follows:
• On 17th February 2025, a Blood Donation Camp was organized with the slogan “Rakt Daan Maha Daan” in collaboration with AIIMS and 123 official and staff voluntarily donated blood for this noble cause.
• On 18th February 2025, a Health Check-up Camp in association with RBL Bank, and 476 official and staff attended and benefitted health check-up, under which free eye tests were conducted and spectacles were given to those attendees who required it.
• On 20th February 2025, a Stress Management Camp was organized in association with the All India Institute of Ayurveda, focusing on techniques for managing stress and improving mental health and 124 official and staff attended the program. Medicine on prescription by doctor was distributed to the attendees.
• On 21st February 2025, Health Screening and Monitoring Camp were organized in association with Aurae Health and 105 official and staff attended the program. The program features health check-up through facial and finger screening in which online report was provided to attendees.
These events were held at the Staff Lounge, Ground Floor, Police Headquarters, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi.
Sh. Sanjay Kumar, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police (Welfare), and Sh. Rajeev Ranjan, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Welfare), addressed the gathering and emphasized the need and awareness about social responsibilities and applauded the staffs, who have participated in these programs.
