MSI Champions the Future of Sustainability and Innovation at International Conference SBMIT-2025

New Delhi,  February 21, 2025 : The International Conference on Sustainable Business Management, Innovation, and Technology (SBMIT-2025), hosted by Maharaja Surajmal Institute (MSI), Janakpuri, on February 20-21, 2025, brought together over 200 distinguished researchers, academicians, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore sustainability-driven innovations that shape the future of business and technology.

A pre-conference symposium on February 19, 2025, set the stage for the main event with thought-provoking discussions led by esteemed international keynote speakers, including Prof. Brandon Randolph-Seng (Texas A&M University-Commerce, USA), Ms. Sumita Singh (Senior Vice President, U.S. News & World Report), Prof. Marco Valeri (Niccolò Cusano University, Italy), Prof. Salloum Charbel (EM Normandie Business School, France), Dr. Rahul S. Mor (University of Northampton, UK), and Dr. Sudhir Rana (Gulf Medical University, Dubai). Discussions centered on the intersection of rapid technological advancements, environmental challenges, and transformative business solutions.

The conference was formally inaugurated on February 20, 2025 by Conference Honorary Chair, Prof. Prem Vrat, Pro-Chancellor (NCU-Gurugram) and Former Vice-Chancellor of UP Technical University, in the presence of distinguished guests including Dr. Anil K. Sravat (Adjunct Professor, IIT Roorkee), Prof. (Dr.) K.K. Dewan (Former Vice-Chancellor, Noida International University), Mr. Rajesh Panwar (Director, Department of Economic Affairs, Govt. of India), Prof. Ramesh Chander Kuhad (Renowned Scientist & Director, DPGITM, Gurugram), Dr. R.S. Dabas (Founder, CIOE), Ish Anand (Global VP, iCapital Ventures), and Vidya Bhushan Sinha (Co-founder & COO, Daalchini Technologies).

Following a ceremonial Sarasvati Vandana and Lighting of the Lamp, Prof. (Dr.) Harish Singh, Director of MSI, welcomed attendees, reaffirming MSI’s commitment to academic excellence and industry collaboration. Dr. Sarita Chaudhary, Head of the MBA Department, provided an insightful conference overview, emphasizing the need for sustainable business strategies in today’s evolving global economy.

Additionally, Dr. Ish Anand highlighted opportunities in green industries, while Dr. R.S. Dabas and Vidya Bhushan Sinha discussed corporate leadership and technological innovation in sustainability.

February 21, 2024 – Day two of the conference was equally featured an engaging lineup of speakers, beginning with a welcome by Prof. (Dr.) Harish Singh and the felicitation of distinguished guests. Prof. (Dr.) N.P. Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean, MVN University, delivered the Chief Guest Address, stressing the importance of sustainability in education and corporate practices. Prof. (Dr.) K.K. Dewan examined policy’s role in sustainable business, while Mr. Raj Singh Gehlot, Chairman & MD of Ambience Group, provided insights into sustainable infrastructure and real estate. Prof. Sanjeet Singh (IIM Lucknow) explored sustainability-driven business models, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar (CMD, Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd.) discussed sustainable global connectivity, and Prof. (Dr.) Ravi K. Handa (Director, IMT Faridabad) delivered an impactful keynote on strategic sustainability in management education. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Shilpa Sindhu, Associate Professor, MSI, followed by a networking lunch encouraging meaningful collaborations.
