Grand Shri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations Held at Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Faridabad

Faridabad: Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Sector-14, Faridabad, under the joint aegis of Narayan Seva Sansthan and Mahajan Biradari (Mahajan Sabha) Faridabad.

Thousands of devotees visited the temple throughout the day to offer prayers and seek blessings, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere. The temple premises and surrounding roads were beautifully decorated with colourful lights and floral arrangements.

Devotees formed long queues to have darshan of Lord Krishna and swing the deity’s palanquin. Prasad was also distributed among the devotees by the temple committee of Narayan Seva Sansthan.

Women from Sector-14 and nearby areas, along with various kirtan groups, added to the festive spirit with devotional bhajans, kirtans and dance performances.

The celebrations reached their peak at midnight when Lord Krishna’s birth was marked with the blowing of conch shells, ringing of bells and devotional music.

The temple reverberated with chants of “Hathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki” as devotees celebrated the auspicious occasion. Dr Arun Gupta, General Secretary of Narayan Seva Sansthan and Mahajan Biradari (Mahajan Sabha) Faridabad, congratulated the organisers and devotees on the successful celebrations and said the organisations have been celebrating Janmashtami with great enthusiasm for several years and would continue the tradition in the future.
