According to officials, the video shows a Maruti Suzuki Brezza moving at high speed before taking a sharp turn and striking a security guard on duty. The footage triggered public outrage after being shared online by a local resident, who also claimed that no immediate action had been taken initially and tagged the police with vehicle details.
Following the viral post and CCTV evidence, police registered an FIR under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The accused driver was later arrested on Sunday. Authorities confirmed that the security guard sustained minor injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
