The Impressive TimesMainpuri (UP), April 20 ,2024 : Four women were killed and 24 others were injured when a tractor-trolley overturned after being hit by a truck in Bhongaon area of Mainpuri district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police
sources said here. The police said that Virendra Singh, a resident of Kunwarpur village, along with his
family members had gone to his daughter’s house in Beldhara village on Friday. On Saturday morning while they were returning the tractor driver parked the vehicle to repair the headlight near Dwarikapur village, they said.
The sources said that during this the truck hit the tractor-trolley and it overturned. “While four
women identified as Draupadi, Phoolmati, Sanja Devi and Ramakanti were killed, 24 others
were injured,” the police said. Senior police officials were at the spot and those seriously injured have been referred to Saifai for treatment, the police said.
