The Impressive TimesMonday’s confrontation in the Bandipora region of north Kashmir’s Aragam hamlet resulted in the death of a terrorist in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
After receiving reliable information about the presence of terrorists, a joint team comprising the Army, CRPF, and J&K police began a cordon and search operation in Aramam Bandipora, according to police officials.
The militants in hiding opened fire on the security forces as the combined team of troops drew closer to the suspected location, sparking an altercation.
Up until the last reports arrived, the gunfight was still going on.
