Shaurya Vednam Utsav in Bihar: A Tribute to India’s Military Strength

Bihar : In Bihar, the three Armed Forces are holding Shaurya Vednam Utsav at Motihari in East Champaran district from today. The two-day event is being organized under the “Know Your Army” campaign at Gandhi Maidan, Motihari. Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan will inaugurate the event this morning. The event is strategically organized in a bordering area near the Indo-Nepal frontier to instill a sense of patriotism, particularly among the youth.

The Shaurya Vednam Utsav is open to the public with free entry, providing a rare opportunity for visitors to engage with and gain insights into the lives of the soldiers who protect the nation. Attendees will be able to witness various military equipment and thrilling displays, including the Sukhoi fighter planes, T-90 tanks, Bofors guns, fly-past demonstrations, a drone show, a dog show, martial arts performances, and motorcycle daredevil stunts. A special highlight of the event is the newly inducted robotic mule of the Armed Forces, showcasing advancements in military technology.

Visitors will also get an opportunity to witness the Army’s combat capabilities during wartime and its efficiency in responding to disasters. The event aims to educate and inspire citizens by demonstrating the dedication, discipline, and strength of the Indian Armed Forces.

Apart from military exhibitions, Shaurya Vednam Utsav will also feature a range of cultural performances that celebrate India’s rich heritage. Spectacular presentations of traditional dance forms like Chhau and Bhangra will be performed, adding a vibrant touch to the event. These performances aim to blend patriotism with cultural pride, offering a holistic experience to visitors.

The event will also include informative and interactive stalls designed to offer valuable insights into career opportunities in the Indian Army. A dedicated Army recruitment help desk will provide details about enlistment procedures, eligibility criteria, and future prospects for young aspirants looking to serve the nation. Additionally, an Army placement help desk will be set up to assist veterans in finding employment opportunities post-service. Medical assistance stalls will also be available, extending healthcare support to visitors.
