Law and order driven growth boosts defence manufacturing push and investment climate in Uttar Pradesh

Prayagraj, May 6, 2026: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today participated in the closing ceremony of the North Tech Symposium 2026 held in Prayagraj, themed around “Raksha Triveni Sangam.”

Addressing the event, the Chief Minister said that a strong law and order system and a secure environment have transformed Uttar Pradesh into a major destination for investment. He added that good governance in the state is giving new momentum to the defence manufacturing corridor and strengthening India’s resolve towards self-reliance in the defence sector.

He further noted that the ongoing industrial and security reforms are positioning the state as a key hub for defence production and technological innovation, contributing significantly to national capability building.

The Chief Minister also emphasized that initiatives like the Defence Industrial Corridor are creating new opportunities for youth employment and industrial development in the state. He said that Uttar Pradesh is steadily moving towards becoming a strong pillar of India’s defence production ecosystem through consistent policy support and improved infrastructure.
