Lucknow, May 4, 2026: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday distributed appointment letters to more than 500 newly selected auditors during a ceremony held at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow under the state’s transparent recruitment process.
The appointments were made through the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, where 371 auditors were selected for Cooperative Societies and Panchayat Audit Department, while 129 auditors were appointed in the Local Fund Audit Department. The recruitment process was conducted in a fair and merit based manner, officials said.
Addressing the newly appointed candidates, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of contributing to the creation of a developed Uttar Pradesh as part of the broader vision of a developed India. He called upon the youth to work with dedication, honesty, and responsibility in their respective roles.
He further stated that the state government remains committed to ensuring transparent recruitment and providing timely employment opportunities to young people, which he said is essential for accelerating the state’s overall development.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that such recruitment drives are part of a larger governance model aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency at the grassroots level. He added that empowering young professionals in public service will help improve accountability and performance across departments.
Officials present at the event noted that the induction of newly selected auditors is expected to enhance financial oversight in rural and local bodies, ensuring better transparency in public expenditure and governance outcomes across Uttar Pradesh.
