The Impressive TimesCHITTARANJAN; 08, March, 2025: International Women’s Day 2025 was celebrated in Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) at the Basanti Institute Hall on March 8, 2025, today. This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action” reflects the vision of a world where everyone enjoys equal rights and respect.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Smt.Kiran Badhan, President / CLW Women Welfare Organization & Shri Vijay Kumar, General Manager
as Chief Guests. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of progress and equality.
Shri Ranjan Mohanty, Chief Personnel Officer, Heads of Departments, senior officers, members of CLW Women Welfare Organization, women employees, and supervisors, graced the occasion. The program features with vibrant cultural programme organized by the women employees of CLW.
Smt. Kiran Badhan, President of CLW Women Welfare highlighted the indomitable spirit of women to achieve their goals in their life. She highlighted the importance of celebration of women’s day & congratulated.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Vijay Kumar, General Manager emphasized the significance of International Women’s Day and shared his thoughts on women’s empowerment. He highlighted the global celebration of women’s achievements and struggles for their rights. Acknowledging the crucial role of women employees in CLW’s development, he commended their dedicated contributions.
Subsequently, outstanding women employees were honored by Shri Vijay Kumar/GM and Smt. Kiran Badhan, President of CLW WWO, for their remarkable performance and dedicated contributions in their workplace.
