Mamata Banerjee Alleges Assault and Electoral Manipulation After Bhabanipur Result Shock

Mamata Raises Serious Allegations Against Central Forces and Election Proces

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made strong allegations following the recent election results, claiming she was physically mistreated during her visit to a counting Centre in BhabaniPur and questioning the fairness of the electoral process.

Addressing the media, Banerjee stated that she was not accepting the election outcome, arguing that a large number of seats were “taken away forcefully” and therefore the result does not reflect the true mandate of the people.

She further insisted that stepping down from her position or visiting Raj Bhavan is not under consideration.

Banerjee alleged that during her visit to the counting centre, she was pushed and manhandled, claiming she was struck and forced out of the premises.

She also accused central security personnel of behaving aggressively and described their actions in strong terms, alleging misconduct outside the counting venue.

According to her, CCTV cameras were not operational at the time of the incident, raising further concerns in her statement.
The TMC leader also questioned the transparency of the counting process, alleging that her party was ahead in several rounds before results shifted unexpectedly.

She claimed that external interference and irregularities influenced the outcome and suggested that the election process was not conducted fairly.

Banerjee further said she had prior indications from officials suggesting possible irregularities during counting

The remarks come amid a heated political atmosphere following the declaration of results, where the opposition has raised concerns over the electoral process while the ruling side has rejected such claims.

The situation continues to trigger strong political debate across West Bengal.
