He added that the focus will be on creating an environment that supports both domestic and global companies.
Industry representatives suggested strengthening research and development, creating innovation centres and supporting startups to help companies scale globally. They also highlighted the need for export facilitation mechanisms and stronger skill development pipelines aligned with industry requirements.

Microsoft representatives also discussed plans to promote artificial intelligence based learning in schools and technical institutions. The initiative aims to train students in emerging technologies such as machine learning and data analytics to improve future employability.
The state government is also preparing a dedicated policy for the AVGC XR sector to promote animation, gaming and digital content creation. Experts in the meeting suggested expanding esports infrastructure and developing incubation centres to support innovation and talent growth in the sector.

In addition, discussions were held on developing a destination wedding hub in Pinjore, which is expected to boost tourism and local economic activity. Proposals from pharmaceutical, medical devices and e waste industries were also reviewed during the meeting.
