Gurugram– With the declaration of Central Board of Secondary Education Class 10 results, a student from Gurugram has emerged as one of the top performers, securing an impressive 99.8%.
Advit Agarwal, a student of DPS Sector 45, credited his achievement to steady preparation throughout the academic year rather than last-minute efforts. He scored a perfect 100 in English, Artificial Intelligence, Spanish, and Social Science, while narrowly missing full marks in Mathematics and Science.
Sharing insights into his preparation, Advit said his approach was focused on continuous improvement through regular school assessments. Instead of starting preparation at a fixed point, he gradually intensified revision closer to pre-board exams.
He admitted that Social Science initially posed a challenge due to its extensive syllabus. However, rather than relying on rote learning, he adopted a smarter method—breaking topics into concise notes, visualising concepts, and understanding them as narratives. This approach helped him retain information more effectively and focus on key patterns in questions.
Advit also emphasised the importance of going beyond textbooks. He encouraged students to build conceptual clarity, stay curious, and avoid memorising content without understanding it.
His message to juniors is simple: stay consistent, analyse mistakes after every test, and gradually strengthen weak areas. According to him, disciplined effort over time plays a bigger role than intensive short-term study.
