Anirudh Ravichander Shares Emotional Note for Vijay Ahead of Jana Nayagan Release

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has expressed his appreciation for actor Vijay for placing his confidence in him for the upcoming film Jana Nayagan. The composer shared a heartfelt message on social media, recalling their long creative association and thanking the superstar for the opportunity.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes picture with Vijay from the film’s sets, Anirudh wrote that working on Jana Nayagan has been a memorable experience. He also reflected on their collaborations in films including Kaththi, Master, Beast and Leo, describing the journey as filled with special moments and lasting memories.

Directed by H Vinoth, Jana Nayagan features Vijay in the lead role along with Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju. The film, which has generated significant buzz among fans, hit theatres on July 23 after facing delays during its certification process.

The movie was initially planned for a Pongal release on January 9 but encountered hurdles after the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) raised concerns over certain scenes. Following the resolution of the issues, the film finally reached audiences.

Jana Nayagan is being viewed as a landmark project in Vijay’s career as it is reportedly his final film before he dedicates more time to his political journey. Over his three-decade-long career, Vijay has established himself as one of Tamil cinema’s most influential stars with popular films such as Leo, Bigil, Ghilli and Pokkiri.

The political action drama marks another major collaboration between Vijay and Anirudh, whose musical partnerships have produced several chart-topping soundtracks over the years.
