Rajnath Singh Visits TKMS Shipyard in Germany Reviews Type 212 Submarine and Defence Cooperation

Kiel, April 23, 2026: India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems shipyard in Kiel, Germany, where he inspected the advanced Type 212 submarine and reviewed ongoing developments in naval technology. The visit formed part of India’s broader engagement with European defence partners aimed at strengthening maritime capability and industrial cooperation.
