Born on August 26, 1973, in the historic military hub of Ambala Cantt, Haryana, the trajectory of this distinguished educator’s life was defined early on by a singular, focused passion: the mastery and instruction of Mathematics. In a world where many shy away from the complexities of numbers, she found a language of logic and beauty, setting a goal for herself that would eventually impact thousands of young minds across North India.

Academic Foundation and Early Career
Her journey toward educational leadership was paved with academic brilliance. Pursuing her love for the subject to the highest levels, she earned her M.Sc. in Mathematics from Himachal Pradesh University, situated in the serene Summer Hills of Shimla. Following this, she completed her B.Ed. from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Her time as a student was marked by a relentless pursuit of perfection, graduating with distinction in every single examination—a testament to the “hard-working lady” she would become known as in her professional life.
Life took a pivotal turn following her marriage and relocation to Malout, Punjab. It was here that her career truly began at GTB Khalsa Public School. For 20 years, she served in the trenches of the classroom, transforming the way students perceived Mathematics. To her, a math problem was never just a calculation; it was a lesson in discipline and critical thinking.

The Ascent to Leadership
Her unparalleled dedication did not go unnoticed. After two decades of classroom excellence, she was promoted to the position of Principal, taking the helm of an institution with a massive student body of approximately 3,000. For the last 11 years, she has navigated the complexities of school administration with the same precision she once applied to algebraic equations.
Under her stewardship, the school has become a beacon of self-maintained discipline. This culture of excellence extends from the teaching faculty to the non-teaching staff and the students themselves. Her reputation precedes her in the hallowed halls of the CBSE administration, where she remains in the “good books” of officials due to her meticulous adherence to standards and her school’s exemplary performance. Perhaps the greatest metric of her success is the Year-over-Year (YOY) growth in student enrollment across every stream, a feat that has earned her consistent appreciation from the School Trustees.

Philosophy and Personal Strengths
While she is a seasoned administrator, her heart remains that of a teacher. She candidly admits that while her greatest strength is the instruction of Mathematics, her most profound “weakness” is the empathy she feels for her students—specifically, the genuine sting she feels whenever she sees a student lose marks in her beloved subject. This sensitivity drives her mission for the all-round development of every child under her care.
Beyond the school gates, she finds balance within a “happy nuclear family.” Her husband serves as an Executive in a Nationalized Bank, while her children have achieved remarkable professional success: her son is building a career abroad, and her daughter has attained the prestigious rank of Chartered Accountant. This family unit remains her bedrock of support.

Interests and the Path Ahead
Even a leader of 3,000 students needs a moment of respite. When she is not busy with school or family, she finds joy in the kitchen, cooking diverse cuisines, or finding peace in the melodies of old Hindi songs. These hobbies reflect a woman who appreciates tradition, harmony, and the effort required to create something wonderful from scratch.
As she looks toward the future and eventual retirement, her vision remains centered on service. She plans to dedicate her post-professional years to her family and, true to her roots, to the upliftment of underprivileged students. Her goal is simple yet profound: to ensure that financial hardship never stands in the way of a child becoming proficient in Mathematics. Her life stands as a calculated, beautiful proof that with discipline, passion, and hard work, one can truly change the variables of the future.
