New Delhi –*Organized by NSG at Training Center, Manesar from 25.08.25 to 06.09.25
Counter Terror (CT) Forces of 08 different organizations participated.
BACKGROUND:
As part of capacity building for State Police Forces and CAPFs, the MHA has mandated NSG to conduct Clusterised Joint Counter Terrorism Training (CJCTT) Exercises. Accordingly, NSG had organized CJCTT Exercise for North Zone at Training Centre, Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana for two weeks from 25th Aug, 2025 to 06th Sep, 2025 to enhance the CT expertise of CT Forces with the objective to promulgate National Crisis Management, initiate operations by first responders, basic understanding of unarmed combat skills and share best practices.

In this exercise 8 commando teams of CAPFs and state police forces (CT forces) participated as mentioned below:

The above-mentioned CT Forces were engaged in different CT exercises like day-night firing with different weapons in different positions & situations, House Intervention, Bus Intervention, Train Intervention, Slithering & emerging IED handling trends etc., followed by final competition between the 08 participating teams.
The exercise emphasized on commando operation drills aimed at rescuing hostage and neutralizing the terrorists and to achieve the said goal tactical CT operations were planned and carried in different scenarios.

Firing exercise was done in different conditions, timings, situations and positions on different types of target figures to check firing skills such as accuracy, trigger control, sight alignment, etc.
The SWAT commando team from Delhi Police comprising of 3 HITs (18 commandos) led by SI Arun Kumar, participated in CJCTT Exercise and secured first position out of the eight participating teams.
To motivate the SWAT commandos and encourage such exemplary performance in future, Worthy CP/Delhi & Special CP/Special Cell rewarded the SWAT team and felicitated the supervisory officers of SWAT.
