Temporary office will be built near Eastern Peripheral Expressway for New Noida

Noida , 5 November 2024 : Major decisions are taken to start work on ‘New Noida’. A meeting of all senior officials of Noida Authority was called after getting the master plan 2041 of New Noida approved by the state government. The major issues that were discussed in this meeting included acquiring land for Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad investment zone and opening up a temporary office near eastern peripheral. The process to be followed and the layout etc. were also discussed. The government has plans to establish investment zone Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad area in which land of 80 villages from districts of Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahar. The area was notified on 29th August 2017. Master plan 2041 was approved by the cabinet recently in the month of October. The area is named as ‘New Noida’ and the in the recent meeting the instructions for acquisition of land have been given. The government would be entering in an agreement with the farmers for acquisition of land.
In the important meeting held on Monday, CEO Dr. Lokesh informed that as soon as the project of New Noida approved by the cabinet, the number of land deals has increased considerably. A spurt in the construction activities in the area is also witnessed. In order to take the real time status of the land area under consideration, the administration is collecting aerial pictures downloaded with the help of satellite. This will help the administration to identify the construction that has come up after notifying the area.
Dr. Lokesh informed that a prior approval of the Noida authority would be needed before starting any construction in the area. Any construction without such permission would be categorized as “illegal”. The board members of New Noida would be having discussions with the villagers on the matter. Any illegal construction would be bound to face action from administration. The CEO informed that the development of the project would be completed in four phases spread over the period upto 2041.
Officials that were present in the meeting included ACEO Sanjay Khatri and Satish Pal, OSD Mahendra Prasad, Kranti Shekhar and officials of planning department.
