Bihar Ministers Shravan Kumar and Sunil Kumar assure prompt action on complaints, credit ex CM Nitish Kumar-led government for strengthening development and public welfare

Patna: Bihar Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar and Rural Works Minister Sunil Kumar on Monday heard public grievances during a Janata Dal (United)-organised public hearing at the party’s state headquarters in Patna and directed officials to ensure prompt redressal of complaints.

People from different districts of Bihar attended the programme and presented their grievances before the Ministers, who instructed the concerned departments to take immediate action wherever required.

Speaking to the media, Shravan Kumar said former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s two decades in office had transformed Bihar by replacing “jungle raj” with good governance and setting the state on the path of justice, development and public welfare. He said the government had restored public confidence and accelerated the state’s overall progress.

Sunil Kumar said every complaint received during the public hearing is examined seriously and necessary action is taken to resolve issues. He added that under the guidance of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and leadership of Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, the government is working to strengthen governance, accelerate development and ensure that welfare schemes reach the last person in society.
