Bhopal, May 9 – Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav chaired a high-level meeting on Friday at Samatva Bhavan (CM Residence) to review the security arrangements across the state. He emphasised that national security and safety of citizens is the topmost priority.
Dr. Yadav directed all senior officials to pay special attention to essential public services, strengthen departmental readiness, and implement all necessary precautionary security measures with immediate effect.
Crackdown on Anti-National Propaganda
The Chief Minister emphasized strict control over anti-national propaganda and instructed that citizens should be informed and encouraged not to believe in or spread rumors. He also ordered heightened security around all key installations of both the Central and State Governments. Disaster management resources, including healthcare and fire services, must be reinforced and kept fully prepared.
Departmental Coordination and Readiness
Dr. Yadav reviewed the current security infrastructure, status of public services, and interdepartmental coordination. He instructed officials to enhance communication and cooperation among departments to ensure swift and efficient responses. He further directed that all departments remain on high alert and fully prepared to handle any emergency situation.
He made it clear that until conditions normalize, no officer or field personnel from departments related to essential public services shall take leave. The uninterrupted supply of public services must be ensured at all costs.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Mr. J.N. Kansotiya, Additional Chief Secretary (CM Office & Water Resources) Dr. Rajesh Rajora, Director General of Police Mr. Kailash Makwana, DG Home Guards Mr. Arvind Kumar, ADG Intelligence Mr. A. Sai Manohar, along with senior military officials, and Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, and other top-level officers from various departments.
