District Election Officer Medha Roopam Inspects EVM/VVPAT Warehouse in Gautam Buddh Nagar
DM conducts quarterly inspection in presence of recognised political parties
The Impressive TimesGautam Buddh Nagar:Medha Roopam, District Magistrate and District Election Officer, Gautam Buddh Nagar, conducted a quarterly inspection of the EVM/VVPAT warehouse at the Collectorate on Thursday in the presence of representatives of recognised political parties and senior officials.
During the inspection, Medha Roopam checked the seal placed on the warehouse lock, which was found intact and secure. She also reviewed the functioning of CCTV cameras, all of which were found operational. The security arrangements for windows and ventilators were also inspected.
After the inspection, the District Election Officer issued necessary security-related directions to the personnel deployed at the warehouse. All arrangements at the facility were found to be orderly and secure.
Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Ajit Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition) Arun Kumar Singh, Deputy Collector Arun Kumar, Harishankar Lal and officials of the District Election Office were present during the inspection.
