This impressive throw marked a new record for Anderson and solidified his status as a formidable competitor in the field of javelin throw.
The Lausanne Diamond League meet was Neeraj Chopra’s fifth competition of the season and served as a critical test before the Brussels Diamond League Final, which will be his last event of the season. Despite finishing second, Chopra’s performance was a significant improvement from his previous outings, indicating that he is peaking at the right time. His season-best throw of 89.49 meters reflects his continued dedication and effort to remain among the best in the world.
