Faridabad, March 17 – DC Faridabad , Vikram Singh reviewed the preoarations related to flood relief management Efforts at a meeting on Monday. He
Instructed the officials to get the drainage system ckeared ahead of the monsoon season.
DC Vikram Singh visited the villages near the Yamuna, including Kidwali, Riwazpur, Latipur, Dulhepur, and Mohna, to assess the situation. He also interacted with village sarpanches to understand their concerns and directed relevant officials to resolve their issues promptly.
During his inspection, DC Vikram Singh assessed the flood relief management efforts and instructed the officials to improve the drainage system and to focus on the Yamuna river area.
The officials provided DC Vikram Singh with details of the flood relief measures undertaken and assured him that adequate preparations were in place to prevent flooding. They assured that villagers would not face any difficulties during the upcoming monsoon season.
The DC emphasized that during the monsoon season, when the water level in the Yamuna River rises, proper monitoring of the embankments should be conducted.
He urged officials to fulfill their responsibilities with diligence and ensure that flood relief management is carried out in a well-planned manner.
SDM Faridabad Shikha, SDM Ballabgarh Mayank Bhardwaj, along with officials from relevant departments and village sarpanches were present on this iccasion.
