Jiva Public School Organises Expert Led Special Parent Workshop under Series of Manthan

The workshop addressed some of the key challenges faced by children today, including lack of concentration

Faridabad, October 10, 2026: Jiva Public School,  Faridabad, organised a special interactive parent workshop under its ‘Manthan’ series on the theme ‘Raise Healthy Kids – The Ayurvedic Way’. The session featured Dr. Partap Chauhan, a globally renowned Ayurvedic physician and international speaker, who shared valuable insights with parents on children’s health, balanced lifestyles and holistic development.

The workshop addressed some of the key challenges faced by children today, including lack of concentration, stress, excessive screen time and unhealthy eating habits. Drawing upon the principles of Ayurveda, Dr. Chauhan highlighted the importance of understanding a child’s Prakriti (natural constitution)—Vata, Pitta and Kapha—and its role in supporting the child’s health and personality development.

He explained that understanding each child’s individual constitution and aligning their daily routine, dietary choices and lifestyle accordingly can help promote better physical and mental well-being. Emphasising that a balance of the three doshas is central to a healthy life, he underlined the importance of providing children with a balanced and appropriate diet suited to their individual needs, thereby supporting their health, temperament and overall development.

The workshop was designed as an interactive session, giving parents an opportunity to share their concerns, clarify their doubts and ask Dr. Chauhan questions directly. The initiative aimed to enhance parental awareness of children’s physical and mental well-being and encourage the adoption of healthier lifestyle practices at home.

Through its ‘Manthan’ series, Jiva continues to provide parents with opportunities to engage with experts on important aspects of parenting, child health and holistic development. The initiative reflects the school’s commitment to strengthening the partnership between parents and educators and fostering a healthy, nurturing and positive environment for every child.
