New Delhi-  The Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), under the Union Ministry of Education, organised a Swachhata Shramdaan at a PM SHRI school in New Delhi as part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign.

The cleanliness drive was led by DoSEL Secretary T. K. Anil Kumar and conducted under the aegis of Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE. Students, teachers, senior officials and officers of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) participated in the initiative.

The Shramdaan covered the PM SHRI school’s campus as well as an adjoining community area and the park located in front of the school. The initiative brought students and the surrounding community together to promote collective responsibility towards cleanliness.

The programme was followed by a tree plantation drive under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0’, with students taking part in the activity to reinforce awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
