Gurugram : On Friday, 7 February, a two-day international conference concluded under the joint aegis of Gurugram University, ICSSR and USIEF. In the program, RSS’s All India seh prachar-pramukh , Narendra Thakur, Chief Guest, former Haryana CID Chief Anil Kumar Rao (IPS) and renowned psychologist Prof. Rajbir Singh attended as special guests, while Gurugram University’s Registrar Dr. Rajiv Kumar Singh was the Chief Patron. Narendra Thakur inaugurated the closing ceremony by inaugurating the selfie point made on Panch Parivartan and while telling about the Panch Parivartan such as Swa Ka Bodh i.e. Swadeshi, civic duty, environment, social harmony and family enlightenment, he asked the youth to move forward by assimilating all these in their lives. Narendra Thakur said that in today’s time, the importance of technology is increasing continuously and technology is advancing day by day and it has become more involved in the society but due to this people are also getting isolated which is affecting mental health, it is not wrong to use technology but it is wrong to get used to it.
In such a situation, such programs will also work to make people aware while improving their mental condition. More than 50 national and international level leading experts, scholars and professionals came together in the program to discuss contemporary mental health challenges and innovative interdisciplinary approaches. During this, more than 90 research papers were received for the conference.
Two panel discussions and six technical sessions were organized during the two days of the seminar. Former CID chief of Haryana Anil Kumar Rao discussed the topic of the conference with his experiences and real life examples and congratulated Prof. Dr. Gayatri Raina of the Psychology Department for organizing such a grand program.
