Mahakumbh’ special edition of ‘Sanchar’ released

Faridabad, March 03, 2025: The special ‘Mahakumbh’ edition of ‘Sanchar’ newspaper run by the Department of Communication and Technology of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA was released by various eminent women of the society. Former Registrar Dr. Meha Sharma, educationist and social worker Dr. Savita Bhagat, international model Dr. Mahima Bakshi, Sapna Suri, Prof. Neelam Turk, Renu Dagar, Media Department Head Dr. Pawan Singh, Dr. Taruna Narula, Dr. Sonia Hooda, Dr. Rahul Arya, Dr. K. M. Tabish, Dr. Payal Dhingra, Dr. Neha Goyal, Senior Trainer Dushyant Tyagi, Production Assistant Anju Singh and media students included in the Sanchar editorial team were present on the occasion of the release of Sanchar newspaper in the program organized in the studio.

After releasing the special ‘Mahakumbh’ edition of the Media Department’s ‘Sanchar’ newspaper, the esteemed women of Faridabad praised its page layout, picture collection, writing material, news related to Mahakumbh as well as other activities of the University including Indian festivals.

Vice Chancellor Prof. S.K. Tomar congratulated the Media Department for the Maha Kumbh special edition of ‘Sanchar’ prepared by media students. He also motivated the students to use new techniques in creative activities.

Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairperson of Media and Communication Department , said that ‘Sanchar’ newspaper is a powerful medium for media students to gain regular practical knowledge. It has been prepared by the students of the department under the guidance of senior instractor Dushyant Tyagi and production assistant Anju Singh. In this special issue of Sanchar Patra, ‘Mahakumbh’ along with other festivals have been prominently published. Dr. Pawan Singh congratulated and wished the Sanchar editorial team for the publication of the Mahakumbh special issue of Sanchar Patra.
