He clearly stated, accelerating obesity prevention is the need of the hour and it’s a shared responsibility across sectors and levels, and one that may not follow typical hierarchical or individual sector-based approaches. Yoo, A greater awareness of the potential catastrophic consequences of the high rates of obesity, together with a common understanding that individuals/cirizens,state/central government and groups in every sector and at every level must play a critical role in propelling the prevention of obesity strategies/awareness at “PAN INDIA LEVEL” and this can only help us create “an enduring & an eternal basement” for a “health revolution across India”, leading to “prevention of obesity” which in-turn becomes the key for a “disease free society”..
