Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar Leads Historic Joint Nyokum Yullo Celebration in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh, Feb 26 2025: Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, graced the first-ever Joint Mega Nyokum Yullo Celebration as the Chief Guest in Boasimla, Kamle District, Arunachal Pradesh, on Monday. The grand cultural event marked a historic moment in the state’s rich traditions, bringing together people from various communities in a spirit of unity and festivity.

Nyokum Yullo is a significant agrarian festival of the Nyishi tribe, celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm across Arunachal Pradesh. This year’s joint celebration aimed at fostering a sense of togetherness and preserving the cultural heritage of the indigenous communities. The Vice-President’s presence at the occasion underscored the central government’s commitment to promoting and recognizing the traditions of the Northeast.
