Haryana Minister Rajesh Nagar Distributes Scooters to 26 Journalists at City Press Club, Faridabad Event

Haryana Minister lauds the City Press Club's sustained commitment to journalists' welfare and professional support

Faridabad: The City Press Club (Regd.), Faridabad on Sunday distributed scooters to 26 journalists during its second scooter distribution programme held at the Faridabad Industries Association (FIA) auditorium. Haryana Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Food and Supplies Rajesh Nagar attended the event as the chief guest, while Media Advisor to Haryana CM Rajeev Jaitly, FIA President Raj Bhatia and Mansa Group Chairman Naresh Malik were present as distinguished guests. The club had earlier distributed scooters to 18 journalists under the same welfare initiative.

During the ceremony, the club felicitated chief guest Rajesh Nagar, while Naresh Malik and Raj Bhatia were conferred honorary membership of the City Press Club.

 

Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Nagar said the City Press Club has consistently worked to safeguard the interests of journalists while also making meaningful contributions to social causes. Recalling his long association with the city’s media fraternity, he said the club’s sustained efforts for journalists’ welfare were commendable and deserved appreciation. Rajeev Jaitly praised the club’s initiatives for the welfare of media professionals, while Raj Bhatia described journalists as the “mirror of society” and said strengthening the press ultimately benefits the public at large. The dignitaries also participated in a plantation drive at the FIA premises.

Club President Bijender Bansal welcomed the guests, while Working President Navin Dhamija proposed the vote of thanks. General Secretary Rajesh Sharma conducted the proceedings. Patrons Uttam Raj, Rakesh Chaurasia and Mahendra Dhull, Treasurer Manoj Mandal, Senior Vice-Presidents Sushil Bhatia and P.S. Mata, Vice-Presidents Deepak Gautam, Dhirendra Rajput, Anil Arora and Shakun Raghuvanshi, and Joint Secretaries Kuljinder Rajnikar and Om Prakash Panchal felicitated the guests with shawls and bouquets. The event was attended by a large number of club members and media professionals.
