Faridabad: In an event hosted by the Faridabad IMT Industries Association titled “Haryana Government with Industries,” Haryana’s State Industry Minister Rao Narbir Singh assured that 12 demands would be fulfilled in the presence of Faridabad IMT President Veer Bhan Sharma, as well as leaders of various industrial organizations from the city, including FIA, FICCI, MAF, Small Industries Bharti, DLF, Sector 31, Sector 58, and SIA.
The program took place at the Radisson Blue Hotel, located on the National Highway, where nearly 9 different industrial organizations from Faridabad were represented. During the event, entrepreneurs raised several issues, to which the Minister assured them that he would attempt to address the concerns. The event was also attended by Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel, Food and Supply Minister Rajesh Nagar, and DC Vikram Singh.
Minister Rao Narbir Singh had initially arrived in Faridabad for a Grievance Committee meeting. Afterward, he participated in the event organized by the Faridabad IMT Industries Association. The program was attended by all major industrial organizations from the city. The Faridabad IMT Industries Association, led by President Veer Bhan Sharma and General Secretary Deepak Prasad, welcomed the ministers and the DC with a planter and memento.
During the event, Association President Veer Bhan Sharma presented a welcome speech and raised the following demands on behalf of the entrepreneurs. He highlighted that Faridabad is a well-known industrial city, but currently, there are no vacant plots in IMT, and attention should be given to expanding IMT to promote industries in the area. Furthermore, he noted that approximately 60% of industries in Faridabad fall under non-conforming zones. There are about 17 such industrial areas where development work is lacking, and industries face difficulties in obtaining necessary NOCs and approvals. He urged the government to consider regularizing these areas.
Another demand was for the establishment of a car manufacturing plant in the city. Additionally, the process for obtaining industrial licenses should be simplified as it is currently complex and problematic for entrepreneurs. In total, 12 demands were presented to the Minister.
