Amit Shah Assures Fair Probe Into Exam Irregularities, Commends Dharmendra Pradhan’s Efforts

“Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured justice for students amid concerns over examination irregularities, stating that the government remains committed to maintaining transparency and taking strict action against those involved in paper leak cases.”

Speaking on the issue, Shah praised Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for his handling of the matter and acknowledged the steps being taken by the Education Ministry to strengthen transparency and accountability in competitive examinations.

The Home Minister said the government has adopted a zero-tolerance approach towards those involved in examination malpractices. He added that agencies are working to identify and dismantle networks responsible for leaking question papers, and that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found guilty.

Shah also underlined that protecting the future of students remains a top priority for the government. He said ongoing reforms are aimed at restoring confidence in the examination process and ensuring that recruitment and entrance tests are conducted in a fair and credible manner.

His remarks came after recent protests by opposition leaders over alleged examination-related irregularities. Responding to the concerns, the Centre reiterated that efforts are underway to improve the integrity of the examination system and prevent such incidents in the future.

The government has maintained that it will continue introducing stronger safeguards and institutional reforms to ensure transparency, fairness and equal opportunity for all aspirants.
