Lucknow– In an inspiring story of determination and family support, three sisters from Uttar Pradesh’s Mau district have been inducted as constables in the Uttar Pradesh Police, achieving success together after three years of dedicated preparation.
Raj Nandani Yadav (25), Shikha Yadav (24), and Ayushi Yadav (21) cleared the Constable Civil Police recruitment examination and were formally inducted during a passing-out ceremony held at Police Lines in Lucknow. Their achievement has turned into a proud milestone for their family and community.
Coming from a farming background, the sisters credited their success to discipline, teamwork, and strong family encouragement. They began preparing together after earlier attempts at the Sub-Inspector examination did not yield results. Encouraged by a relative, they shifted focus to the constable recruitment process and committed themselves fully to the goal.
Sharing their journey, the sisters said they studied together, divided responsibilities like making notes, and relied heavily on online resources. Their preparation routine reflected both seriousness and camaraderie, as they supported each other through challenges.
For the family, the moment represents more than employment—it symbolises resilience and collective effort. The sisters also acknowledged the sacrifices of their elder siblings, who supported their education and aspirations.
With training nearing completion, the three now await their postings, hoping to serve close to their hometown. While they share the same profession, they noted that being posted at the same station is unlikely, adding a light-hearted note that this remains their only “competition.”
In a related development, another family celebrated a similar achievement, as a homeguard’s daughter and her cousin also joined the police force, highlighting a broader trend of young women entering public service roles in the state.
